Essentially, PS Move Navigation controller is intended to use wired on PC, and it's usually problematic to use it wirelessly. There are some tools that allow you to use PS Nav wirelessly. But since almost all of them are open-source programs, they're quite unstable, and may cause unpredictable consequences. reWASD provides a PlayStation Move Navigation controller PC driver, which allows you to Pair your controller with PC via Bluetooth once, and forget about this struggle for good! When you connect the gamepad to PC, and have the Bluetooth connection available, we will ask you whether you wish to Pair the PS3 Navigation controller with this PC. In case you wish to use the controller wired, no worries, just click Skip in that window.
If you have found out that your favorite game does not support controllers, no need to panic, we'll get your back! reWASD permits to assign keyboard and mouse binds to your controller, and it is perfect for this case. If you wish to use the gamepad with a keyboard or mouse side-by-side, you can unmap the PS Move Navigation controller (to mute the native input completely), and assign the needed binds to it. Looking for an easier way to remap the controller? Check the reWASD Community for suitable configs, there are plenty to choose from ;)
reWASD is a remapper on steroids: we have some features you could only imagine. Want to Toggle some key on and off? You got it. Want to use the Turbo feature to repeatedly fire the key? You got it! What about some combos for your PlayStation Move Navigation controller? Make the key sequences of different complicity: from the Ctrl+C, to a sequence that will consist of several clicks. For example, copy the Photoshop layer and enable transformation on the second click. Anything you wish is possible!
Is Nav your old pal that has been through fire and water with you? Then there is a chance that the Stick and Trigger on your gamepad need some tuning. With reWASD, you can change the PS3 Navigation controller Stick Deadzone, pick one of the graphs of a response curve or make a custom curve, and invert the X or Y axis. When it comes to the Trigger, you can change the Deadzone from both sides: move the high-zone closer to the low-zone to reach the full press quicker, or move the low-zone further to stop accidental Trigger presses.
When it comes to the controller, you have a limited number of keys. And in the particular case of the PlayStation Move Navigation controller, 14 keys are at your disposal. This is not much, but we can work with this: reWASD has some features that permit adding about 1000 button assignments to PS Nav! Here's how you can do that:
We have some more aces in our sleeves. One of them is Autodetect. Why Applying the configs manually if you can assign certain configurations to certain applications? And when the app is in focus, reWASD will turn remap on for you. You can create different profiles for games with different Associated apps, and this way your PlayStation Move Navigation controller is always prepared, no matter what game you launch.
Another cool feature is Commands: lock the PC, turn the wireless gamepad off in one click, save screenshots to the customizable location — it's only a matter of one click. If you're not sure if you will remember what the mappings mean, make sure to add Descriptions to each mapping to help your future self!
